Scouts Personal First Aid Kit

Over the next few weeks Scouts are working on Stages 1 and 2 of the Emergencies Adventure Skills.  For next week Scouts have to put together their Personal First Aid Kit and bring it into next weeks meeting.

This doesnt have to be expensive.  Much of what's needed will most likely be at home.  Large stores will have anything else you need.  The attached photo shows a few of the things I picked up in a certain large store in Maynooth, nothing cost more than €1.50 and some only 40c.

Scissors aren't an essential item, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get proper First Aid Scissors for just €1.35.

Money saving tips:
a) check and see what's at home first
b) split larger packets of plasters, antiseptic wipes between two scouts.
c) dig out an old pencil case or perhaps a small tin or lunch box that might fit the bill to hold your personal First Aid Kit.

Don't forget to label it CLEARLY with your name and the words First Aid.
